Taras is a Founder and Vice President of Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies Pte Ltd, a fast-growing company that has begun turning zero carbon, hydrogen energy into a commercial reality. Prior to starting Horizon, Taras was based in the Netherlands and involved in technology-based corporate venturing at Eastman Chemical Co. Taras later joined forces with his counterpart in China to form Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies, which started research, operations, and global marketing in Shanghai. Taras has since led Horizon's business development, market strategy and product design. Some of the products created by Taras and his team have been recognized as an "Invention of the Year" by Time Magazine in 2006, and received several awards including the Business Week International Design Excellence Award in 2007, and a Best in Marketing award from Business 2.0 in the Silicon Valley.
