Peter Rimmer - Executive Director, BBGV

Peter Rimmer has gained over 30 years experience as a specialized manager/director with strategic and operational experience in both large and small organisations. He has a B.A .in Peace Studies and a M.A. in South East Asian Studies.

His career began in the 1970’s with the reception and resettlement of refugees into the UK from Indochina, assisting over 2,000 Vietnamese people to settle throughout the country. Since then I have obtained professional experience in Community Development with the London Docklands Development Corporation, Corporate Responsibility at News International Ltd, Director of Groundwork Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk and most recently Executive Director of the British Business Group Vietnam. I have a wide experience in management, governance, urban regeneration, corporate social responsibility, company mergers, social marketing and philanthropy gained within the corporate, charitable and governmental sectors.
