Interview - Part II - Jon Yongfook Cockle is a web entrepreneur based in Tokyo. After working his way up through the web and advertising world in production companies such as IMG SRC and agencies such as Dentsu, he went independent in 2007 and launched Open Source Food - a popular recipe sharing website. Open Source Food was acquired in 2009 by USA-based Tsavo Media and since then he has been focused on building his next company Egg Co., making web-based software applications for marketing firms working with social media.

Jon works full time as CEO of his company Egg Co. It involves developing and managing internal projects, and giving talks at conferences on development, metrics and online marketing. He is a jack-of-all trades type of person - equally comfortable with programming, designing, defining business strategy and making tea.
