Prof. Loek Hopstaken - Trainer and Consultant

Loek Hopstaken is an independent Dutch business consultant, coach, mentor and trainer. Before arriving in Vietnam (2008) he had over 30 years of experience both in management and specialist roles in business communications, human resources management and quality management. From 1991 – 2000 he trained appr. 3,000 CEO’s in communication and management skills. His life with Vietnamese family and friends inspired him to develop two cross-cultural communication skills workshops: one for expats, one for Vietnamese who work with foreigners or move abroad. He has lectured at both Dutch and Vietnamese business schools.

Loek develops and runs leadership and management development programs for Vietnamese and foreign companies. Occasionally he designs and runs public courses for his business partners: AIT, TüV Rheinland Vietnam, VCCI and Spectra. He mentors / coaches several Vietnamese and foreign CEO’s. Every 2 months he publishes an online newsletter covering a wide variety of subjects.
