    Larry Wang

Larry Wang is the Founder and CEO of Wang & Li Asia Resources, a Greater China HR services company that provides recruitment and HR consulting services to leading companies operating in the region. Wang & Li was formed in direct response to the growing needs of expanding multinational and Chinese businesses for high caliber, bilingual/international-oriented professional and management talent.

Wang has written two books in this field. The first, The New Gold Mountain, released in May of 1998, was written for overseas and returnee Chinese professionals and focused on their regional career opportunities. His most recent book, Know The Game, Play The Game, released in August of 2001, speaks directly to today's maturing generation of "homegrown" mainland professionals. Both books provide practical insights and advice into developing the type of skills and qualities needed to succeed in today's rapidly evolving business environment.

Mr Wang has been featured on China's largest English radio station, China Radio International and is a frequent speaker at leading mainland and U.S. MBA programs, as well as HR conferences and professional organizations throughout North America and Greater China. Wang also contributes business insights on management and human capital issues in Greater China to the media, such as CNBC, CNN, CCTV, AWSJ, Business Week, and The South China Morning Post.

In 1992, Wang founded Chinese-American Professionals in Taiwan (CAPT), the first professional organization targeting the interests of Chinese-American professionals in Asia. In 1999, he founded Chinese-American Professionals in Shanghai (CAPS).

Prior to founding his company, Wang worked for 10 years in leading consumer product and information technology multinationals. His presence in Greater China over the past 11 years has included stints in Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and now Beijing, where he oversees Wang & Li's regional operations.

Larry Wang received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.
