Prof. Wu Jinglian is Baosteel Chair Professor of Economics at CEIBS. He has been a Member of the Academic Council of CEIBS since the school was founded and a Faculty member at CEIBS since 1996. Prof. Wu is also Senior Research Fellow at the Development Research Centre of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, and Member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He is a Professor of Economics at the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. In September 2005, Prof. Wu was elected as a member of current Executive Committee (2005-2008) of International Economic Association (IEA). He serves as an Independent Member of the Boards of several companies.
