    Joseph Constanty

Joseph Constanty joins us to explain what group purchasing is and confess his motivations for setting up this business in China. Mr. Constanty is the co-founder of Wufantuan.com, which is an emerging group purchasing website targeting local Chinese consumers. After living in Greater China for eleven years, he has developed a dynamic understanding of the business and social culture of the Chinese society, which is why Joseph is able to grasp the opportunity to successfully bring the “Groupon” model from the US to China.

Now Wufantuan.com has become one of the major platforms in the highly competitive group buying industry, and Joseph’s long term goals is to develop good and steady customers.

Joseph Constanty is the Co-founder and Sales Manager of Wufantuan.com. It is a website to change the way offline businesses interact in the digital space. Previously, Mr. Constanty was director and co-owner of Tangential Consulting, where he guided the company through its initial investment and funding cycle while simultaneously organizing the government registration process. He aligned Tangential with strategic Chinese-owned companies to establish both entertainment and education companies, including Lucky Greens Golf, LexDex.com, NextStep Shanghai, NextStepDirectory.com, and now Wufantuan.com.

Joseph Constanty graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in economics, political science and urban studies, and continued his studies at several leading Chinese universities.
