Laura Younger is originally from Canada and works as a deputy executive director at American chamber of commerce in Japan. She graduated from university of Toronto and got her MBA in McGill University where she was an external vice president in McGill MBA Japan Student Association. As coming to Japan has always been a dream to her, she eventually made it to Japan and get involved in business. She won Sho-dan Qualification of Japan National Shodo Association in 2007.

She has also served in the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo as a senior program officer in Communications and Culture, and has worked with Japanese local government since arriving in Japan in 1984. She is an active speaker, writer, panel moderator and university, lecturer on topics related to CSR and sustainability, globalization trends, and doing business in Japan. She holds an MBA in International Business from McGill University.
