    Dr. Greg Story joined Shinsei to become General Manager of the Excellence in Banking Division in November 2003 and became General Manager of the Platinum Banking Division on November 2005.

    Prior to joining Shinsei, he was the country representative for Austrade, having run Sales and Marketing operations in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo from 1992-2003.

    Dr. Story established the Shinsei Business School in April 2004 and he is one of the key drivers of cultural change within the Retail Bank. A twenty-two year veteran of Japan, his current responsibilities cover the national branch network for Shinsei, which contributes two-thirds of the Retail Bank revenue and encompasses 550 of staff of the Retail Bank.

    Dr. Story holds a Doctorate in International Relations from Griffith University in Australia (1988), and a Master's Degree in Comparative Culture from Sophia University in Tokyo (1985). A 5th Dan in Shitoryu Karate, he applies martial art's philosophies and strategies to business issues.

      Hafele, a company founded in Germany in 1923, is worldwide the number 1 trading company in the furniture and architectural fittings space, customers in Japan are the furniture, kitchen and construction industries. Karl is also the founder and chair of the B2B Sales Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ).
